I just wanted to write to you with feedback on my new mattress.

The only minor negative (to get it out of the way) was that there was no paperwork or instructions with the mattress on arrival. This was quickly remedied with information on the website giving me an idea of how it would 'unfurl'.

That aside, it was delivered on time as promised (a refreshing change!) and I REALLY love this bed. My friend had sung the praises of memory foam for ages and so I began to search the web, eventually finding your website.

It was the excellent website layout that really helped me choose your company. It explained so much so clearly and without 'waffle' it was kept simple, key facts and so effective, lovely to navigate around especially compared to other company sites I looked at. I was pretty much sold on your product in minutes. Well done on the web design team it was money well spent!


It hasn't taken long for me to fall for the bed itself and switch from a sprung one to memory foam. I do find my sleep is different, I don't seem to fidget as much. I look forward to bedtime and the only problem is getting up as I just want to relax on the mattress for as long as possible. I have purchased some memory foam pillows separately (I couldn't see any on your site otherwise I would have got some), these are taking longer to adjust to.

So, all in all a great product at a very good price. Glad I caught the sale offer and was able to buy the Embrace model and treat myself.

Dear Healthy Mattress,

I was really nervous about buying a mattress online, especially after trying several different ones in my local bed shops and feeling totally confused. I telephoned you to discuss my requirements and got some great advice. Needless to say I decided to buy a Aloe Embrace mattress.

When the mattress arrived my other half took it upstairs and opened it. Quite bizarre how it blew itself back to full size! By late evening we decided it was probably near enough to sleep on.

Next morning both my partner and I were gobsmacked by how well we had slept.  We felt we had to email you as we received great advice and really have got a great mattress, it feels so much better than any we tried in shops, including ones that were more expensive. We’ve already recommended it to one of our friends who have now got one too!

Beware of 'bedroom traders'
Research shows that many internet sites are run from people's homes and offer very little in the way of support or expertise. Check the contact details give them a call. You'll find many phone numbers go to mobiles or answer phones. We have professional, knowledgeable staff ready to take your call and answer any questions you may have.

Check the Depth & Density of the Memory Foam
You'll find that some mattress retailers don't even quote densities of foam that are on their mattresses. This is the single most important factor in your purchase. You should aim for 60kg/m3 density or above. All Healthy Mattress Company products are manufactured from the highest quality memory foam available and have a density of 70kg/m3.
   
Check for UK safety legislation compliance
There are, unfortunately, a handful of retailers that sell mattresses that DO NOT conform to UK safety legislation. Always ask for a fire certificate for the product. Do not put yourself and your family at risk for the sake of saving a few pounds. You may seriously regret it. All Healthy Mattress Company products FULLY CONFORM to all UK legislation.
Check the Depth & Density of the Base Foam
As with the top layer, this is a key measure of the support and comfort of the mattress. Check the density of the base foam is and make sure that it is at least 20kg/m3 density. Many high street retailers employ poorly trained staff who are geared towards hitting targets, rather than providing you with the best solution. Our experience gained within the medical marketplace gives us the knowledge required to manufacture effective and long lasting products, which is why the base foam in all our products has a density of 28kg/m3.
