Check the Depth & Density of the Memory Foam
You'll find that some mattress retailers don't even quote densities of foam that are on their mattresses. This is the single most important factor in your purchase. Check for UK safety legislation compliance
There are, unfortunately, a handful of retailers that sell mattresses that DO NOT conform to UK safety legislation. Always ask for a fire certificate for the product. Check the Depth & Density of the Base Foam
As with the top layer, this is a key measure of the support and comfort of the mattress. Check the density of the base foam is and make sure that it is at least 20kg/m3 density.
